This product is a little thinner than what I had expected. The case I purchased from Wal-Mart was a lot thicker and more supportive. I would have like to known more about the thickness.

This a good iPhone cover. It's easy to put on and take off and keeps the phone pretty well protected. I really thought I was buying the hard outter box but I'm still pleased.

The case itself fits fine, and the iphone is certainly quite usable with the case on. I'm not doing any drop testing, but like some others I'm sceptical about the claims of impact protection.

I had a big problem with the clear screen protector -- it had little paper stickers on both sides (at the edge), that were to be pulled off before & after application. EXCEPT ... they were paper, and used cheap glue that didn't allow a clean peel-off, so the screen protector was basically useless. (Why is it that products made in China seem to only use cheap glue?) So that freebie ain't so great.

If I were to do it over, I'd probably go to a nearby discount store and get a cheapo silicone case for a couple of bucks less. But this does the job I wanted done, so I'm keeping it.

I was so eager in getting this case when I saw on amazon for about half price. When I received the item, it was disappointing that I received a Blackberry version instead of the iphone 3g one that I ordered.

I love about 98% of all of the functionality of this phone. I had about 1 day left before I could exchange this Venus for the Voyager. So I went into the Verizon and asked for the manager. He took me directly to the Voyager so we could compare apples to apples. We went through all of the features that I used on my phone and mutually agreed that the correct phone for me was the Venus.

Voyager has problems multi-tasking where the Venus had no problem with what I would be using. I had to spend way too much time opening the Voyager to access the keyboard. Time I didn't have spend opening the Venus.

Yes, there are some minor problems with the accessibility of the volume control and the lock/unlock feature, but not that serious. Slider works very well and seems very well built to avoid breakage. The camera takes very nice pictures and I love the camera controls. When you want to take a picture, you open the slider, hit camera button and
the screen flips 90 degrees so that it feels and looks just like a camera.

I actually play a Verizon $6.95 WSOP Texas Hold'em game that I downloaded and there is no usage fee. I have played some tournaments and cash tables and do quite well, but this little game is an awesome challenge. The larger you set the blinds, the more difficult the players. Nice challenge.

The screen has held up very well with not one scratch. I bought a $9.95 Samsonite leather belt clip holder from WalMart and it works great. It rotates 360 degrees and the phone stays nice and safe and very easy to access without worrying about the phone falling out.

the rubber case is fine, but the screen protector is a complete waste. i got so frustrated with the air bubbles (and yes, i cleaned everything thoroughly before attempting installation) that i just threw the screen protector out. very poor engineering on their part. would not purchase again.

Wouldn't it be nice to have an iphone but at one third the cost? Yeah, that's what I thought too. Unfortunately, the LG Venus certainly isn't that.

First of all, why would a phone billing itself as a music phone NOT use a 3.5 (standard) mm headphone jack? You cannot find high quality 2.5 mm headphones anywhere and adapters aren't tiny--defeating any purpose of having a smallish mp3 player. Maybe it's because they want you to buy their bluetooth headseat. Unfortunately again, that too is wildly awful--people 20 feet away can hear every word that comes out of them, even when the headseat is on your head.

Suppose magically there were good 2.5 mm headphones, what then? Well you'd have to deal with the irritatingly slower playback of the songs than they're supposed to run. It's a bit subtle at times, but the songs are definitely slower--using a micro SD card or the phone's own memory.
You can get small album art images during playback, but I'd rather the song sound the way it's supposed to.

The phone itself works decently. It's small and nice looking but the touch sensors react correctly only about 75% of the time, which is actually pretty bad if you think about it. Graphics are great, the camera isn't. Other than the touch screen, there's nothing new about this phone and there certainly isn't anything wonderful.

Please, save your money and pass this info along. I'm returning mine and likely switching to a phone company that provides its customers with better phones.

I ordered an Otter Box from Amazon which came with a beautiful 4-color instruction sheet. Item 3 said to remove the protective plastic coating from the inside of the clear screen. I tried to remove the coating for about 20 minutes with no luck until I decided to take an x-acto knife to peel it back from an edge on the inside of the yellow box where no scratches could be seen. I still had no luck. I then tried different corners - no luck. I then called Otter. It seems there is no coating and that the instructions included in the product were for an earlier version. I asked them if they would send me a new box because I wanted one in which there were no marks (yes, I made them) from trying to remove the non-existent protective cover. Nice people - they were sending me a new box.

I then went ahead to see how the entire assembly worked. Again, I tried and tried, but my iPhone just would not fit in the Otter Box. I then called Otter again and it seems the 3G and the 3GS models require different Otter Boxes than the original iPhone - who knew? Again, they would send me the correct model for my 3G iPhone. As I said - nice people.

Upon receiving the new, right size Otter Box, with no protective coating to remove, I cleaned off my iPhone with a micro fiber cloth, put it in the yellow plastic case, put the black rubber cover on it and then I put the entire assembly in the belt holder. Only problem now is that the belt holster doesn't even the Otter Box in place - it falls right out with no effort whatsoever! I bought the Otter Box because I work in construction and in a shop and I wanted protection for my iPhone. Clearly, if the Otter Box assembly with the iPhone inside falls right out of the holster - what's the point?

As I mentioned above - very nice people, nice concept, really aggravating product - and lots of wasted time on tip of that.

As I said – nice people.

Upon receiving the new, right size Otter Box, with no protective coating to remove, I cleaned off my iPhone with a micro fiber cloth, put it in the yellow plastic case, put the black rubber cover on it and then I put the entire assembly in the belt holder. Only problem now is that the belt holster doesn’t even the Otter Box in place – it falls right out with no effort whatsoever! I bought the Otter Box because I work in construction and in a shop and I wanted protection for my iPhone. Clearly, if the Otter Box assembly with the iPhone inside falls right out of the holster – what’s the point?

As I mentioned above – very nice people, nice concept, really aggravating product – and lots of wasted time on tip of that.

The case may be fine and but it took entirely too long to receive it. So the one star is for Amazon.com. I have bought several products from Amazon in the past with no issues until I purchased the Otter Defender Case. I bought it online on January 9th and still did NOT have the product on January 20th. I called Amazon Customer Service and all they could tell me was that it shipped on January 13 and would probably be delivered on January 22th. That is almost 2 weeks after I bought it!! The CS rep could not explain the snail pace delivery of the product, she could only apologize. That is not acceptable for an item that is in stock. If the item is not available Amazom should notifiy the customer of the delay but that was not the case in my situation. I will seriously consider my next purchase from Amazon.

As mentioned, this case WILL lift the edge of your screen protector and create air bubbles. I ruined one screen protector like this. Rather than chance fate again, I shipped this thing back for a refund.

The screen protectors didn't work at all. They bubbled, the tag didn't pull off correctly. I wasted my money but I should have known better - they were inexpensive.

This item is basically a cheap piece of plastic. It DOES NOT protect iPhone. My theory is that if you spend 200 - 300 bucks on a phone it better work and protect the phone. Don't go by creative photography and presentation of this item.

I followed the directions. Bought this one b/c of all the reviews about how it doesn't make bubbles, but it does. It does seem to do a good job of protecting my screen though.

The side towards the camera eye the case doesn't fit very well. It doesn't fall but unlike other cases, which fits tight, this has a gap and you feel it might come out.

Not the best looking charger, but it gets the job done. I've had it for about a month now and it is working fine. The only complaint I can think of is that it separates from my iphone rather easily so I have to re-connect it to the charger every once in a while, but that is a very minor complaint and I move my iphone a lot when I'm rocking out in my car so I don't think it will be much of an inconvenience if you are a normal person! Very cheap so I recommend buying two in case one fails which for me hasn't been the case yet.

This took a while to get to me and once it did the box it came in was so beat up that it looked like someone had stomped on it a few times...result from that was the cover doesn't fit smoothly bc it has a few dents in the back of it that makes the cover not fit flush...The box it was shipped in is so pitiful that I am almost embarrassed for Amazon to post a pic of it, even though it was probably the USPS's fault.

I ended up buying a cover at the apple store. It was not worth the time and money spent to try and save on buying a cover from Amazon. I would be hesitant to buy from amazon again, since this was my first purchase from them.

Bottom line - it only lasted a week, but while it worked I loved it. Amazon replace it and the new one that does work well. Good quality for music, pictures and video. Use of ease is also a plus. So the one star is the fact that it was not built well for the price paid.

Another small issue was you guys have a tendency of packaging item at the bottom of the sale, "People who purchased this also bought this" So I did as well and one of those items was the case for the Nano 4th Generation. Well it didn't fit, as all those who ordered it will tell you. Any way I gave up trying to get one that does fit. E-mailed you and the seller and the best I got was, "We have it now", but the shipping is more then the cost of the case. As a result of the two issues, that should have been on you.

I do look at you guys a little differently because of the two bad experiences with this one purchase.

I was a little skeptical at first, my husband joked that it would not work for the price, since he paid $30 for his. I have absolutely no complaints, especially for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone and I plan on buying another one for our other vehicle since it was so affordable instead of moving it back and forth. It is definitely WORTH IT!!! Phone accessories can be so expensive so if you are skeptical like I was about the price, take it from me and DON'T BE! Buy it, it is well worth it!

Overall, it seem's like it's going to be a good screen protector. I just got them today, and what I dont like is how hard it is to get on and all the bubbles that come along with it. I did it three times, and I think I'm going to stick with where it's at. I understand that it come's with five, but there's three of us I ordered them for and I did not realize it would take so many tries to get it on alright.

first try - I read the directions, but they didn't seem right to me so I went about it my own way and it came out horrible.

Second try - Followed the directions, and it had appeared to work, untill I realized that the second tab actually pulled off the screen protector with it, leaving no protector (which I would have had to redo anyway because it pulled it off)

Third try - followed directions, and was more careful with the pulling the tab off. Managed to get it on but had quite a few bubbles still. I managed to get all of one off by using the lint cloth and pushing them to the side and out, and breaking a couple apart with my finger nails.

It's good for how cheap it is, but if you have more than one iPhone, or this is going to be used for several people buy more than one package.

Let's be honest: this phone is mostly designed to impress and pick up girls. When it comes to real use, despite the hype about this phone, I found it disappointing. For all the money paid for it and for the mandatory data service (extra $30/month) this phone should do much more than it does. Internet access only goes half way: one cannot download/upload files. 16GB makes it more powerful than my first Pentium computer, yet the phone has less than 1/10 of that computer's capabilities. The operating system and programs are only partially compatible even with Macs. Most annoying however I found its unusual sensitivity to water or even humidity. This phone is mostly to be kept under a glass display in the living room, as it does not easily survive regular use. Things that everyone normally does with a phone - talk in the bathroom, talk in the rain, keep it in your pocket while running soaked with perspiration, go to the sauna, sneeze while on the phone, all these things that I don't have a problem doing with my Nokia - all these are death hazards for this phone. Apple even installed a WATER DAMAGE SENSOR in the phone, something I never heard of in any other electronic device, even its Mac laptops. That clearly shows that Apple knows about this problem but is more concerned about voiding warranties that designing a better phone. A minimal design to make the phone more usable and resistant to water, such as covers for all openings, would have cost less than the fancy water sensor. But maybe they do this on purpose, to make customers buy replacements if the iphone gets ruined by water, who knows? I wouldn't be surprised. Apple is clearly interested more to cover its a..s than to provide for the customer. If you want a dependable phone, don't get the Iphone. If you absolutely must have it, keep it for Saturday night dates, but even then keep it in a plastic bag, God forbid you might spill the wine on it.

I bought this product over two weeks ago, via usps and usps is the worst carrier ever. I am still waiting for my ipod to be delivered to my home. When they said 3 to 5 days shipping i thought they ment 3 to 5 day shipping not 3 to 5 weeks shipping. I dont know why but amazon doesn't let you choose the carrier that you want which would actually be very helpful because usps is nothing but a joke. Amazon gives you a tracking number and when you go into the usps website and enter it; it is never updated and most of the time it says that there is no record of this item. And i dont know why but, im a moron who keeps on going back to the usps website and hoping that just maybe they can tell me where my package is. But what gets me even more upset is that amazon just keeps on telling me that package has left seller facilities which is in kentucky, and i live just two states over from kentucky, i could have driven there and picked it up myself. I realy hope that usps gets their act together because i realy never want anything delivered from them again.

First off, its near impossible to get open, the instructions are weak to non-existant, go buy something else, maybe a ziplock bag.

It is unfair of me to review the product because the Amazon Marketplace seller sent me a fake product which never worked. Had to use Amazon's A-Z guarantee to get my money back. I gave the product 3 stars on each count because being an Apple product it is bound to be classy and very pricey...so middle grades are always appropriate. I will review the product when I actually receive another one (ordered from Apple direct)

I can't really review this product well since I never received the order. I contacted the seller and was told they do not provide tracking on orders under a certain dollar amount. Overall I was quite disappointed with the order and lack of help. I would NOT recommend ordering this product since you will probably never get it.

Very dissapointed in the money i LOST upgrading. Theirs nothing new to it compared to the older models, that I can tell. I wish they made it with a camera or something, but since they didnt, ive gotten a very bad deal towards this, maybe its time to change to another MP3...........

In something of an unusual nano upgrade, Apple has supplied it's latest tiny iPods with a few new features...none more unnecessary than the integrated video camera. With owners of the more advanced model, the iPod Touch, longing for such a feature for some time it seems Apple has purposely neglected the demands of the consumer yet again.

The latest features of the fifth generation iPod nano are as follows:

- Reduced Price
- Integrated Video Camera
- Upgraded Flash Memory (8GB 16GB)
- Larger Screen (Now 2.2 Inches)
- Microphone
- FM Radio (Only Available On HD Radio Stations In The United States)
- Slightly Longer Battery Life When Watching Videos (Audio: 24 Hours Video: 5 Hours)

By adding a camera to the Nano instead of the Touch it seems the latest upgrades have been designed with the kiddies in mind. Looks like consumers wanting a camera equipped iTouch will have to wait another year at least. Sigh................

It looks beautiful, but my son dropped his when getting out of the car on the way home from the store. The screen broke, and Apple wants $80 to fix it. I can't imagine such a poorly designed piece of equipment lasting any amount of time. What a piece of junk.

Sigh…………………

The product did not work as promised...it did not fit my iPhone 3G, so had to return it back. Amazon was prompt in returning the refund..

Isn't that sad? Apple allowed Amazon to lower their prices because the Zune HD is formidable competition. I was waiting for the 3rd Gen to be announced. When they did...... Well you know what happened. ALMOST NOTHING HAPPENED!!!! So now I have switched sides. Lets hope it's a fair fight.
